If you are interested in learning about the local plants found in the Ozarks and how to use them, this is the class for you! Books and pictures are great, but there’s no substitute for hands on learning in the field. Being able to study the plants in their natural environment, see them up close from every angle and ask questions is a great way to become more confident in your plant knowledge.

During our Herbal Medicine Course, we’ll spend the first hours of the day exploring the property identifying local plants that are medicinal, edible and poisonous. We’ll do lots of walking so be prepared!
We’ll harvest plants from their natural environment on our property and will spend the second half of the day focused on turning those plants into medicinals like tinctures, salves, poultices and decoctions. At the end of the class, you’ll get to take the medicinals you make home with you!

All materials and supplies needed for this course are included in the ticket price!
