Salvo’s Long Range Positional Shooting Competition is a seven-stage mini-match beginning with a single cold-bore shot.
Online registrations are $45.00, on-site registrations on the day of the event are $55.00 (must bring cash).
Round count will be 80.
You should arrive no later than 8:30 am to get set up, prepare your gear, and be ready for your first cold-bore shot.
Eight shooting stations comprise the firing line, each with a different type of platform to shoot from, and each with different designated targets. Participants will be placed into one of seven groups of shooters and each group will rotate through the stages as a unit.
All groups will shoot simultaneously since each of the seven stations have a different set of targets assigned.
Maximum shooting distance will be 700 yards.
Shooters will be scored based on a combination of target hits, rounds fired, and time.

Novice and Pro

  • Novice shooters will only be scored for hitting the designated Novice targets. Engaging and hitting the smaller Pro designated targets will not count for points.
  • The same applies to the Pro shooters. Pro shooters who engage and hit Novice designated targets will not be granted any points for that target.

Confirming Zero

  • Novice division – will be required to confirm zero at 100 yard target.
  • Pro division – Will have the option to confirm zero at 100 yard target but, is not required.
Door payout prizes will be as follows:
  • 1st Place = 15%
  • 2nd Place = 5%
  • 3rd Place = 5%

Equipment allowed: Bipod and a shooting bag no larger than a football.
