Jehiah Burchfield

Bio

Jehiah has 26 years of experience in martial arts and weapons training, eight years of military service in Military Police and Engineer units, seven years of inpatient psychiatric experience, and has worked in both armed and unarmed security as a civilian.

Jehiah has competed in MMA, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, submission grappling, and IDPA. He is currently a brown belt in BJJ. He also has extensive training in Jeet Kune Do, Boxing, Thai Boxing, and Greco Roman wrestling.

During his time as a supervisor at a psychiatric facility, Jehiah was responsible for training all staff members in the facility’s verbal de-escalation and physical restraint program. He trained and certified more than 200 people in this time frame.

In 2003, Jehiah completed a degree in Finance and Economics, in 2011 he finished an M.B.A., and he is currently a full-time faculty member at NorthWest Arkansas Community College, teaching economics, statistics, and entrepreneurship courses.

Also in 2003, Jehiah opened the Integrated Fighting Gym in Joplin, MO where he competed in MMA and submission grappling events and trained numerous MMA and submission competitors.

In 2004 Jehiah moved back to Fayetteville to teach and coach at the IFA Training Center. He currently coaches for the TCB fight team in Rogers, AR. Throughout his career he has trained hundreds of private citizens, security, law enforcement, military personnel, and competitive athletes in Mixed Martial Arts, submission wrestling, weapons (pistol, knife, stick), and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
